CÔTE D'IVOIRE

771km² lithium portfolio

Highly prospective, under-explored tenure

Spodumene pegmatite confirmed at both licences

Significant lithium-in-soil anomalies identified at Rubino

In Côte d’Ivoire, Atlantic Lithium, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Khaleesi Resources SARL, holds exploration permits over the highly prospective and contiguous Rubino and Agboville exploration licences, which cover 374.18 km² and 396.89 km², respectively.

Leveraging operational synergies with its activities in Ghana, Atlantic Lithium is applying its proven track record of lithium exploration, discovery and evaluation in tropical weathering environments, which has enabled the Company’s progress at Ewoyaa, to its portfolio in Côte d’Ivoire.

The Company believes that the Rubino and Agboville licences indicate strong potential for lithium discovery, intended to support the Company’s long-term objective of becoming a leading producer of spodumene in Africa.

The Company intends to continue its low-cost exploration programmes over the Rubino and Agboville licences concurrent to its advancement of the Ewoyaa Lithium Project in Ghana.

Pronounced lithium-in-soil anomalies extending over a 2.5km by 2.0km area have also been identified from soil sampling completed at the Rubino licence. These lithium-in-soil anomalies remain open towards the northeast, where the Company awaits further soil sampling results.

Once the remaining results are received, surface mapping and follow-up auger drill programmes will be planned to map the source of the anomalies below the laterite at surface, with the ultimate goal to define potential reverse circulation and diamond drill targets. Further soil sampling towards the north and over other prospective areas will also be planned.

Discovery of Spodumene Pegmatite

The Company’s geologists discovered a number of spodumene pegmatite occurrences in both the Rubino and Agboville licences as rock float and a single rare outcrop during geological mapping completed over the licences.

Rock-chip samples collected during mapping returned elevated assay values of lithium and other elements, up to 1.25% Li₂O, confirming the Company’s visual spodumene observations and the prospectivity of the licences.

Historic Exploration and Location

Prior to the commencement of the Company’s initial exploration programmes, no modern-day lithium exploration had been conducted over the two licences, which cover highly prospective Birimian aged geological terrain, including possible fractionated granitic intrusive centres, offering significant lithium exploration upside.

Historical country-wide mineral occurrence mapping undertaken during the 1960s and 1970s by SODEMI (Société pour le Développement Minier de la Côte d’Ivoire) identified one of only two spodumene occurrences across the entire country at the time within the Rubino licence, which occurs within a broad belt of columbite, tantalum, tin and beryl occurrences that cross both the Rubino and Agboville licences.

The licences are located within approximately 80km of the economic capital city, Abidjan, and benefit from strong existing infrastructure, including a sealed road network, an operational train line (the main line of which links the port of Abidjan and Burkina Faso’s capital city, Ouagadougou), a well-established cellular network and nearby high-voltage transmission lines.
